The concept and classification principles of mercury lamps
Mercury lamps (also known as mercury lamps) are a general term for a wide range of light sources. They are all made of quartz glass discharge tubes, which contain mercury vapor at several atmospheric pressures. When the lamp is fully lit, there is generally no liquid mercury in the lamp.
The light color and light effect of mercury lamps are mainly determined by the vapor density in the bulb. The light color and light effect can be improved by using fluorescent powder, adding other elements to the discharge, or by assisting the light emission of incandescent filaments. This type of lamp can be used for general lighting, floodlighting and other special purposes.
Mercury lamps can also be classified in other ways.
